Please note that a response by restaurant staff to a concern in a review on Tripadvisor expressed by a customer about being glutened in Behind the Wall in Falkirk indicated that the restaurant does not have separate friers for gluten free foods to avoid cross contamination. This would make anything fried in oil there unsuitable for those who are coeliacs.

In reply to Natasha Smith. Thank you Natasha. That is lovely to read. Most of our menu can be served gluten and dairy free. Actually, most of our cakes are gluten and dairy free. If they are gluten free, the are also dairy free. We make everything ourselves so can tell customers exactly what is in something but also try to adapt things as much as possible for individual customers. We do not have a children's menu as such, but have things on the menu such as fish finger butties, banana sandwiches, beans on toast, that can all be gf/df. Come and along and ask us if you would like further information on anything.

My little girl also can’t have milk and we visit the milk barn lots! They do an ice cream she can have that your boys might like to try! ( if they are ok with soya!)

Mother Murphy’s Tearoom at Ladysmill in Falkirk. The food is phenomenal and most of the things on the menu are available as gluten and/or dairy free. It’s also probably the friendliest, most welcoming place I’ve ever eaten in! Can’t recommend it highly enough.
