Great suggestions. I’ve been to Edinburgh a couple of times but not with our girls. I love the idea of walking around on foot to soak up the city. I have a feeling my girls would enjoy the zoo more though 🙂 Thanks for linking up with #MondayEscapes

Nice list. I know it’s perhaps a typical tourist thing to do, but our kids really enjoyed learning about Greyfriars’ Bobby when we were in Edinburgh. I read them the story in advance and then, starting at the statue, we discovered all the places in the graveyard and surroundings (sometimes needing a bit of imagination) before finally – of course – paying our respects at Bobby’s grave itself.
