This made me smile. We wear the kids out for sure, and I find I’m pretty worn out too. We end up just falling asleep with them which means we are always forst for breakfast. It’s all about the wins right?

In reply to Travelynn Family. We have only used the bathroom a few times but it hurts my back too much. Normally we pretend to sleep so the boys go to sleep. Its really hit or miss though as sometimes we fall asleep too haha!!

Belgium Beers in the bathroom for us last weekend when we visited Ghent. Dad sat on the loo, me propped up against the bath on the floor, whilst the kids supposedly slept in the main room. Ha! The things we do when travelling with kids 😉

In reply to Faylinn. Thank you for your comment Faylinn :-) It definitely makes things easier (for us anyway) having a separate area for our boys. I hope you manage to find somewhere for your vacation, a suite would be a great choice :-)

My husband and I have been thinking a lot about going on a vacation with our kids, but we are really worried about how to handle them in a hotel room. I really like your idea about getting a room that has a separate area for the kids, though, and I definitely think that we should consider that. Perhaps we could get a suite that has joint rooms as well as a living and kitchen area. That would definitely allow us all to have our individual space!
