Croatia I think is the next upcoming family holiday destination. Croatia still seems to be relatively unknown to tourists, so it is a great destination if you want somewhere a little less known but still plenty of things to do.
If you look below you will find all my blog articles from the places in Croatia that I have visited with my children with lots of information on places we visited while away.

Travelling in Croatia
Car: Renting a car can be done from all airports (from my knowledge) and also some bigger cities.
Public Transport: Travelling in Croatia? Then the most used form of transport is by bus. There is an extensive network of long-distance, intercity and international buses. The main cities to get buses around Croatia (and further) are Zagreb, Zadar, Split, Rijeka, and Dubrovnik.
Taxis: Taxis can be found outside airports and in the major cities (waiting outside train stations etc) You can also phone taxis locally. Ask your hotel reception for details (they may even phone on your behalf).
